Let the TRADITIONS begin...

HoLiDayS are all about family traditions!!

We had a couple traditions so far with the Cummard's.
ONE- this past weekend/Sunday:
Lance, Ellie & I went around and
Looked at ChrIsTmaS lights !
She would point out every house that had even a little bit of lights.
That's what I call Holiday SPIRIT!!
Then, we met up with family to go
CAROLING!!
The LeBaron side (Lance's mom side) goes all over Mesa to carol to friends, families, or neighbors. Ellie loved this! All of the kids did.
(including Lance's Buzz boy, Conway, who switched spots with Ellie for a little bit)
After going around, we always go back to Cheryl's and drink some HoT CoCoA!!

Then, on Monday night
we headed over to Dave & Syd's for their traditional
GINGERBREAD HOUSES!!!
Last year was really fun, but a huge mess. It was a year none of us will ever forget.
This year, Syd, Davy, & Cheryl prepared all of the houses.
(from scratch, I might add)
They were so much easier (FOR US) and everyone had a great time making their own UNIQUE house. (So- thanks a ton!)

Ellie had a routine going...

add frosting, lick the knife, put a candy on...
add frosting, lick the knife, eat a candy,
add frosting, lick the knife, then maybe add some more candy to her house.

The girly girls... And of course,
all the decorators:
(except Wende!)

It was so much fun.
Ellie loved every minute of it!!

HOLY MOLY! LOve late night posting. I've been trying to stay caught up....but it aint happenin. I have some cute pics of Ellie decorating her house, everytime I'd go to take a pic she'd turn and smile. Fun times-and you know that's just the beginning!

Ellie, I can't wait for you to come to my party on Wednesday! Remember your jammies and your ticket!

Isn't that snowman with lights right off 24th street and Baseline? It's been there for years! And that is classic Ella Belle to lick the knife in between steps. She gets it from her Mama...slash Aunt Leasy!

slash aunt Shalae.

{Alisse & I are blogging at the same time apparently.}

Great job on those houses. Licking the knife is the best part and then of course dipping it back in and licking it again. I hope she had her own frosting container : ) We will probably be making those gingerbread houses for FHE this week. I haven't made one forever.
