Our Labor Day Weekend -08

This Labor Day weekend the "Sherwood side" was all staying in town {minus the Gibbons boys}...
SO- Auburn brought over some seasons of "THE OFFICE" and we had a
SLEEP OVER!


Aunt Leasy (ALISSE) painted some nails...

Our missionaries stopped in for a visit & Noah esp. loved the attention....

(These missionaries live in our parents Rec. Room & we all really like these 2: Elder Poole & Elder Masima.)

Once they left, the t.v. was back on for the best show ever....
Roxy loaded up some stuff before bed & I just had to snap a pic.! It was so cute!...
Monday afternoon, the girls all made some homemade ice cream & lunch...
Lance grilled for everyone...
Ellie... well, covered herself up somewhat & helped her daddy!....

We all enjoyed the great weather & perfect pool water....
Doodles was so cute- of course....
For lunch, the missionaries came back & brought some friends.

(& had their own party later- ha ha)

Noah wanted to do everything that the missionaries did. He really admires them & his favorite MISSIONARY- Elder Brad Sherwood.

Some of these missionaries had never had homemade ice cream! They were loving it. It was so funny...

My dad was itching to trade in Shalae's car- so he went & did his thing...
Now Shae & I almost have twin cars.... Later that night, the Cummard side had a swim/BBQ party, too.
This stud LOVES BALLS!!!

Obviously- the slide was a hit!...

Great food, & fun time....
That night, Ellie spent the night at Shalae's with Noah, went to Auburns around 7:30 am, then I picked them up after coaching around noon- I guess Shalae partied with them late that night! They were so asleep on the ride home...
On Tuesday, I noticed that Ellie had gotten sick & she told me "I have the PLUG-UPS"... {thanks for passing it to me Elle!}
Ellie had to stay home from preschool on Wednesday & she was so sad. She thought she was being punished or something. Since it was "PURPLE DAY", Noah brought her home a purple cupcake.... and then she had her dance performance that night. We had a great Holiday weekend! Hope everyone else did too!

Labor Day Weekend 07

On Saturday night, Lance & I went to BJ's to eat & ran into Scott, Alisse & their friends.

I think Scott was a little embarrased to be seen with us! HA HA

After looking at the last few post I started on Saturday,

Lance (joking a little) told me I was being

"WIERD & NOT EVER MAKING NORMAL FACES"

in all the pictures....

BUT, as Alisse took our picture, he attacked ME!!!

Who's wierd now??

On Sunday,

Lee & Sarah blessed Baby Casey... it was so sweet!

Lee is like a grown & mature dad now.. so wierd!!

(Just teasing you Lee! It just seems like last year you were in jr. high.)

I wished I brought my camera to take a picture of him & also a picture of BLAIRE!!

All though Blaire isn't showing, yet...

SHE IS 13 weeks prego!!

I had so much fun talking to her & catching up with her for a little bit!

SO, CONGRATS BLAIRE!!!

BTW- speaking of good friends from high school..

left me a comment!! FINALLY found her... well, she actually found me!

Just ask Lance how excited I was!!!!

On Monday.. LABOR DAY...

We of course went swimming at my moms.

Scott was pumpin some iron in the pool...

I mean ELLIE.

Ellie would try to stay as straight as possible & say

"Go MESA RABBITS!"!!

We need to work on her "broken wrists" and her arm placement... OH, and her POP!!

I am going to get BUSTED for adding this!!

Shalae would not stop fishing in the pool.

I kept thinking she was going to put Noah's play finshing ROD down..

but even after a couple hours, she was still quite entertained!!

She loved casting it. Sam would've been proud.

Maybe she'll take up some trips with my dad, now.. who knows??!!

Sea World was obviously loved by a few of us...

Ellie loves to act like a whale/dolphin trainer...

AND YES, of course my husbands love to pretend to be a whale/dolphin!!

(All though I am the one that looks like one.)

See for yourself, he does NOT look like a whale.

(FYI... or to stop any rumors: Last year, he ACTUALLY started to get a little belly while sitting at a desk most of the day.{NO, I didn't care} NOW, this summer he SWEAT it all off while working in the sun & in ATTICS.

He is such a hard worker! AND he is such a good looking STUD!!

I am so lucky. {NOT JOKING!})

Lance cooked us the BEST steak last night. WOW!!

It tasted a lot like FIREHOUSE... which has been MIA for a while, now!!
