Are Ya Ready For

some football?

ASU FOOTBALL that is.
Last weekend, my mom told Lance that if the weather looked bad, that he could use her ASU football tocket & go with my dad.
When I walked in the room, I found the above.. he was so excited.
Even though the weather was good, my mom still let Lance go to the game.

This weekend, Lances brother offered Lance his tickets & ofcourse Lance said YES!
The Gibbons came over {all decked out} & drove with my parents.

Roxy would NOT smile... just stick her tongue out and grin.

We sat up high.
During the game, Lance leaned to me & asked
"are we watching "TO CATCH A PREDATOR" -live right now?"
In front of us was this guy that kept trying to flirt with these young girls. Just look at his face!

This little man was a perfect angel. He just chilled & people watched the whole time.
We drove & sat with Dean, Kemra & Cohen.

We all had a blast.
Go Devils.

I Just Wanna RoCk n' RoLL All Night..

and PaRtY every day!!!

Ellie had her first COMPANY DANCE performance this week.

She is a "MINI" at Higher Ground Dance Studio & they danced to "I Just Wanna RoCk n' RoLL All Night" and that is exactly what she wanted to do.

It was the cutest thing ever. She was so excited about everything & she did awesome!

I had to deck her out & it was really funny. She loved the make up.

Exhibit A- partying all day...
The stretching...

It was funny seeing Ellie with all the girls, because I always think she is so BIG, because she is so tall... but with everyone else, I noticed how small she really is.

Elle is one of the shortest, & she IS the youngest.

(Ellie is the one with her jacket still on)

This is Ellies "BIG SISTER", Sabrina. She sticks with her sister, & they exchange a $1.00 gift & card before performances.
Ellie was talking about how she had a sister all week. When Ellie was making her card, I told her I would write what she wanted to tell her sister. I forgot to scan it... dang it. It was so funny & cute. Ellie kept telling me to write things like "I love that you are my sister now & have fun even when you are not with me or at dance & do good dancing & You are so nice", etc. It was SO CUTE!!
Higher Ground Company 2008:
Ellie loved pumping up the crowd at the beginning...
Shalae took pictures while I TRIED to video tape the dance. She even outlined Elle.
OH- one of the best parts was when Ellie went to grab her prop (guitar) and there wasn't one for her. What did she do? She took the guitar out of the hands of the girl next to her! (Not good, Ellie) She told me later that "Hattie's guitar had a hole, so she didn't bring it, & she was dancing with mine." Luckily, Jheri Glover (owner) saw the guitar issue & rushed one from the middle to Hattie.

You can watch the video... just be warned!
The camera man was standing right in front of Ellie... finally I realized he was filming her close up & she was on the big screen.... so I tried to video tape the big screen... but I was a little late. I actually started taping late, too...
(She was on the very end in the front row.)
IT WAS SERIOUSLY THE CUTEST THING!!!
Lance & I were so proud of her.
Her other fans that night: Grandma Vicki, Aunt Shalae, & Noah Boy.
Ellie loves Kaylee!!

Exhibit B - Rockin' & rollin'! Noah thought Elle was a celebrity that night. He loved watching her & he'd point her out to people.
(After the game, we went & ate at Gecko Grill & when Ellie took her jacket off, Noah would get the waiters attention & have them look at Ellie as he pointed at her costume.)

Later that night, I walked in on Ellie trying to wash her face & take off make up.
(ELLIE- you are 4!)
It was so much fun & we can't wait to see more at the AZ STATE FAIR!!!!

Our Labor Day Weekend -08

This Labor Day weekend the "Sherwood side" was all staying in town {minus the Gibbons boys}...
SO- Auburn brought over some seasons of "THE OFFICE" and we had a
SLEEP OVER!

Aunt Leasy (ALISSE) painted some nails...
Our missionaries stopped in for a visit & Noah esp. loved the attention....
(These missionaries live in our parents Rec. Room & we all really like these 2: Elder Poole & Elder Masima.)
Once they left, the t.v. was back on for the best show ever....
Roxy loaded up some stuff before bed & I just had to snap a pic.! It was so cute!...
Monday afternoon, the girls all made some homemade ice cream & lunch...
Lance grilled for everyone...
Ellie... well, covered herself up somewhat & helped her daddy!....
We all enjoyed the great weather & perfect pool water....
Doodles was so cute- of course....
For lunch, the missionaries came back & brought some friends.
(& had their own party later- ha ha)
Noah wanted to do everything that the missionaries did. He really admires them & his favorite MISSIONARY- Elder Brad Sherwood.
Some of these missionaries had never had homemade ice cream! They were loving it. It was so funny...
My dad was itching to trade in Shalae's car- so he went & did his thing...
Now Shae & I almost have twin cars.... Later that night, the Cummard side had a swim/BBQ party, too.
This stud LOVES BALLS!!!
Come on ride the train....
HA HA... look at Parkers face!

Obviously- the slide was a hit!...
Great food, & fun time....
That night, Ellie spent the night at Shalae's with Noah, went to Auburns around 7:30 am, then I picked them up after coaching around noon- I guess Shalae partied with them late that night! They were so asleep on the ride home...
On Tuesday, I noticed that Ellie had gotten sick & she told me "I have the PLUG-UPS"... {thanks for passing it to me Elle!}
Ellie had to stay home from preschool on Wednesday & she was so sad. She thought she was being punished or something. Since it was "PURPLE DAY", Noah brought her home a purple cupcake.... and then she had her dance performance that night. We had a great Holiday weekend! Hope everyone else did too!

We've been.....

Busy!

*Watching the Olympics... sometimes upside down...

*Pretending to be Olympians! Ellie loved Shawn Johnson & Noah loved to pretend to swim like Michael Phelps.
One day when the kids were swimming, Noah said to Ellie:
"I am Micheal Phelps & you are RANDY JOHNSON"
... he meant Shawn Johnson... it was really funny.

*FIRST DAY of Preschool in 2008 with Ms. Rebeccah.
Noah & Ellie had been counting down the days.
They love their teachers, and "the twins" have already made some new friends!
When I picked them up, they were LOVING LIFE!!! They took turns telling me all about their favorite things, including all details! (reading the racoon book, new friends, both teachers, their masks, the cookies from teachers, tootie-tah, playing, etc.)

Since they were so excited, I took them for an afternoon/after school snack---- of course at OCEAN BLUE!
(Ellie & Noah love OB. They ask to go all of the time & tell me what flavor they want.)
* We were lucky enough to babysitt Baby Reese. (My good friend, Blaire's adorable baby) She is so cute, so happy, & so easy going! We love her. She wasn't sure how she wanted to fall asleep, but as soon as I put a baby doll next to her, it made all of the difference! So sweet.
* My sister-in-laws celebrated Summer's b-day at Mattas... and Ocean Blue!!
* We've been to & from the gym & dance class at Higher Ground.- (Lots of practices for the upcoming performance.)
Noah thought Ellie looked so cute in her costume, that he pretended to take her picture with "his cell phone".
* Ellie (and Noah) played with "Bot"! They had lots of fun swimming & playing pretend..
* Ellie & Noah have been celebrating colors at preschool.... {below is YELLOW day}
* I had to be at the gym at 7:00 am on Saturday, while our gym was featured on Channel 3! The camera didn't work at the beginning, so the schedule was off.... because of that- I lucked out!!! I was supposed to talk about the preschool program, but instead I coached .. while Mike (the owner) talked! {Yahoo!}
Below is when Brittany (with Ch. 3) was held up as she talked with the cheerleaders!
* Sat. night I was the director for KIDS NIGHT OUT (Parents night out) at the gym. There had never been so many kids at 1 KNO. We closed this event & had to turn people away after signing up 125 kids!!!
Here are some pics I snapped:
-Pizza for dinner...
-Root beer floats for a snack..
-Open gym, a movie, & games...
- I prepared their craft-- Bookmarks or notes to their new teachers.
The kids loved the glue, glitter, punches, paper, stickers, etc.! I loved watching them get crafty & creative.
It was nice to see some familiar faces & some of my favorite students that night!
After cleaning up that night (with my awesome husband Lance) .. we got in the car & talked about KNO.. turned around and found "the twins" so asleep. I hope that is what all the other parents got, too!!
I had a fun time & I am already planning on directing again in November!
* We actually got to watch Reese again! Ellie loves this wake up call!!!
Alisse came & helped while I coached - {THaNkS sis!}
Could you die at her cute, happy face?!
She is always so delightful!! I actually dreamed about babies the last few night so bad, because I was looking so forward to watching her. She is the perfect baby.
When her dad came to get her, she was laughing so hard at Ellie, we just had to film her!
Enjoy this happy 40 seconds if you'd like!!
