We Like To Party

We we,
we like to party!!!
What else can I say? I thought that October would calm down a bit... Ahh... try again!!!
But,

Life is what
you make of it,

so why not have a good time? (Esp. after all the hard work?)

I have been trying really hard to do more cardio (which I hate.. you can tell by looking at me). I hate waking up early, so that means pushing 2 kids .. in the heat .. for 2 miles .. up a hill twice. I really "love" when someone I know passes me while pushing the {non jogging/not a double} stroller up the hill. I know people are thinking "she is not gonna make it"... HA HA. I can only laugh!!!

This week has been overwhelming with how many packages we have had to open or ship. BUT, YES... it is like Christmas, even though I know what is in each box!

FINALLY HERE!

We have been waiting on these cute accessories for awhile now... I want them all.

(Some Ideas: put water bottles in, use on a pot shelf, store towels, store toys, decor, and the utensil holders are a very popular cute gift!!)

Small clipboards have been great gifts.

(Ideas: use under your grocery list, kids for church, teacher gifts...)

Large clipboards.. yumm!!!!

(Ideas: teacher gifts, church friends/neighbor gifts, in the office, grocery list, take to church, just because they are darling.)

No, we are not a shoe store, but we could not resist these {cutest ever} little shoes.

On Thursdays, Ellie has dance & then a couple hours later I coach her at gymnastics!

(She is so worn out every Thursday night, SO AM I!!!!!)

Ellie has been asking for these 2 cute little ladies to come play & since it was my turn to drive I had them come over for about an hour.

They were so cute. I loved listening to them play pretend.

They'd yell: "MOM"..

I'd respond: "WHAT??"..

The girls {giggling}: "No, not you. We are pretending!"

O.K... so I had a couple friends that wanted to have a get together with some JR.HIGH friends, so I planned it. I wanted to plan something with kids so more people could come.

(So I thought, until I got tons of e-mails telling me that they wished that they could come, but they were working, had out of town guests, etc.!!)

It was really hot that day, but we still had

On Friday night, Shalae had a craving for JOE'S Farm House in Agratopia &

I had a craving to play games...

So of course we made the 2 cravings happen...

{Warning: We love fried food & lots of it. My favorite things there were the strawberry milkshake & the sweet potato fries! YUMMMM..}

Since Auburn & Bryan live close by we headed over there to "play games"...

Ellie really wanted me to play a game with her. I told her that I would if she would do an

ugly dance with me!!

(she was so embarrassed earlier that day when I did this dance to her)

I guess she wanted to play pretty bad, cause she did the UGLY DANCE!!

Of course we don't wonder why the kids love "UNCLE LA LA"!!

On Saturday night, some fun girls in the ward/neighborhood had a {LDS} KEGGER!!

(ROOT BEER KEG, that is!)

It was lots of fun. This is Amanda Raine who cracks me up every second! She made me laugh every time she asked someone if she could refill their cup at the KEG! She is so cute.

2/3 of the hostesses! The cute lady on the left is Julie Shepherd.

We missed the 3rd HOSTESS {Jamie Bloomfield} the whole party, since she was serving others at a ward reception.

We had 3 birthdays, 3 days in a row!! (see previous posts)

Sunday, was the primary program (best Sunday of the year) & then after church we celebrated Noah's B-DAY!

On Monday afternoon, we went to lunch for Syd's B-Day with the sister in-laws & her side of the family! (nevermind that I gained 5 pounds there!)

And on Monday night... Ellie met her new pet!

We thought it was a worm, but turns out it was a small snake!

SICK!!!

I even had nightmares of snakes & spiders last night!

This weeks plans are just as crazy, so I am sure I'll have another

"play by play" for you journal!!

Syd is 28 again?

You say it's your birthday......da nananana....

Well, this time it is Syd's big birthday shout out. Syd is Lance's oldest brother, Davy's wife.

Happy 28th? SYD!!!

Here are some lovely things about Syd:

*Syd is totally into sports. This is no act. When we play the name game, they guys always know that Syd will guess all of the sports players names. {I love watching football, basketball, baseball... but Syd really knows what is going on.} LUCKY for Davy.

* Syd is an athlete... she cheered and played sports (volleyball?) in high school. In the last couple years, she ran/biked/swam a TRIATHLON. Are ya kidding me? I could never. Plus, I think she is training again & planning on doing her second soon! * Speaking of high school... meet her high school sweet heart... DAVID CUMMARD JR.! They are still going strong and now have 5 kids. They have regular date nights which are usually at least a couple nights a week... yep, they are still in love.

* Here is their {not so little} family... MINUS one... miss Sally. (This was taken outside of the Newport temple.) Syd is always busy with her church calling & I am sure that the kids (and adults) are so thankful for her & her hard work.

* Syd's family is so important to her, from her husband, kids, her own sisters, parents, in-laws, ETC.!!

(*Oh, here is little Miss Sally. She is Syd's youngest. Isn't she so adorable?)* When it comes to a bargain, Syd has already taken advantage. She is THE Coupon Queen, and she knows all of the deals. Lance & I are always lifting our ears when she talks about "the best deal right now at ----". She knows how to save those pennies, although she doesn't really need to. *wink!
* Syd loves the beach. (of course who doesn't??) Syd's family has helped all of the Cummards make a traditional NB trip almost every year. Her & Davy get all of the details figured out thru the owners of the house.. and all that messy stuff. I am so grateful for their help, because even though we already have a tab with them, they help us out all of the time in so many ways. They have no idea how much I really have appreciated their help over the years. I get emotional just thinking about it. {Thanks!!!}

* Sweets anyone? We all had to go try out SPRINKLES, since it was all over the t.v. and all the stars were in love with it. We went here my last few hours of being in Newport this last August & all of us had a blast. (Where was our mother in-law??)

* People work for US Magazine, Us Weekly, etc. because SYD keeps them in business! *WINK.

She loves STAR STALKING. She always knows who is who, what is going on in their lives & all that good stuff.

Syd & I about died when we were shopping at "The Groves" in LA & saw (my favorite) BACHELOR... CHARLIE!!! We were both a little embarrassed, but Syd at least talked to him normal for a minute. I just kept blushing...

* The Cummards spend a lot of time together. We are a very close family & we always know what is going on in each others lives. Syd has been there for me thru some really hard times. I am so glad I had her to call or stop by to help me out.


Thanks again Syd, for all that you do.

Ellie's birthday boy...

Even though I did not give birth to this really attractive little boy..... I call him my 1/2 son. "Ellie GIRL" & "Noah BOY" are only 7 months apart, but it is like having twins!!!
These 2 kiddos love each other so much, get so mad at each other the next second... they can't handle being together sometimes, BUT they can not stand to be apart.

* I was able to be in the delivery room while Noah was born. He was so stinkin cute. I was so glad he finally came to earth.

* AND ELLIE was so glad to finally be with her best friend again... (7 months apart after leaving him in heaven was hard) Right away, Ellie thought she could be his MOTHER HEN. Check out his hair. {TONS of dark brown hair}

* Nope, not Halloween... just because it was the season.
* Noah was CHUBBY (so was Elle). He is the VP of the Food Eaters Club.
* Noah is a sport. Need I say more? Well, I will anyway. He listens to Ellie alot of the time. I am not sure why, but he does. He even will play babies with her or sometimes even dress up.
* Ever since Noah was a newborn, he knew how to stick out his bottom lip & make anyone say "OHHH.... how sad!" He has kind of grown out of this... but he would cry over something (like Shalae dropping him off) ... a couple minutes later, that switch gets turned off & he would be smiling & laughing. I love how guys can do that. Noah is all BOY!!

He talked about swimming all week & then the whole time during lessons, he would cry. It was funny & cute, because when it was his turn he would do what he was supposed to with NO PROBLEM. I think he was just trying to make Shalae feel like he will always be {insert the ugliest voice here} "MAMMA'S BABY"!!! * Ahh, I love this picture.

* Holy cow, they seem so old now.


* They can make each other LAUGH at anything. Right now they love talking & laughing about "TOOTERS"!!!!

* Shalae always wanted a monkey ever since she was a little girl. WELP, she finally got her own. NOAH BOY is just like a monkey in so many ways. PLUS, he is obsessed with monkeys, too!! Ask him all of the monkeys names at the zoo & he'll go on & on. (the daddy monkey is Micheal....)

* Noah & Ellie used to go to Kelli (Ethington) Whisenant's play school/preschool. They loved it. {Note: KELLI IS THE BEST!!! Let me know if you are interested.}

* These 2 crazy kids are so funny. They say the craziest stuff, do the funniest things... They are inseparable.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!!!


Sarah think she is so old now, but she has already accomplished so much in her life for her age.

I love that Sarah is my sister in-law. We grew up swimming together everyonce in a while during the summers... or hanging out with Jenna Phelps, so I think it is so crazy that we are now sister in-laws... BUT crazy good!! PLUS, her brother Ryan {BUBBA} Mabry was my age, so we hung out.. anywho....

Here are just a few reasons why I love Sarah:

* Ever since Sarah & Lee became friends, they have made eachother better people. (Still doing it today.)

* Sarah looks like a million bucks no matter what. She could be a model. She is naturally so pretty. This is Sarah (and Lee) taking their son on his first walk. BTW- Sarah had the baby 2 weeks before.. YES, I said 2 weeks!!

* As soon as Sarah married Lee, they lived in Utah. Lee is so lucky to have her. She cooks nice meals all of the time, and I am impressed with that alone... but living far a way from family has got to be so hard. I could never do it... but Sarah does it with a smile on her face.

* Sarah is also the cutest mom. She is loving being a mom to the sweetest & cutest little boy. {CASEY} She adores every thing he does & is such a cute mom! She is already so good at being a mom.


* Sarah is Lee's BIGGEST fan. She supports Lee while he plays B-BALL at BYU. (Even though she was raised to bleed ASU... she keeps on cheering Lee & BYU on.)
* Sarah is kind to anyone and everyone. She has a huge heart & it always shows. Although Sarah is younger than me, she is such an example to me.

SARAH, I hope you have a good birthday. I wish you were here to celebrate...
