DENIED!!

This summer, my dad decided to build this NIFTY little area in the garage.
(New stairs to the attic & an extra storage place.)
After doing all of that, we cleaned out & really organized the attic.
(My dad is the biggest perfectionist I know & he is always doing dome kind of project)

When we were done organizing, my dad had a bunch of BIG stuff he wanted to take to D.I.!

Instead, I told him I would have a garage sale.....

After many crazy Saturdays, I decided to finally have my garage sale this past Saturday.

The reasons I wanted to have a garage sale:

a) Obviously I am desperate to make a dollar,

and B) My mom always gets Dunkin Donuts during garage sales.
So, my dad decided he didn't want to put any of those items in the garage sale, but LUCKILY Auburn wanted to get rid of lots of baby items, and Brad added a few items.
LET ME JUST SAY:
I HATE GARAGE SALES!
Since I didn't really have any big items...
THE RESULT:
I had to try to sneak & take a picture of this, & you can't really see what it is...SO, let me explain a bit....
I was one of those garage sales that
A) People drive by slow & see it isn't worth their while to get out! (DENIED!!)
B) A van full of people unload, & a couple minutes later they all load back up ... with out buying anything! (DENIED!!)
C) A nice lady feels bad & wants to help me somehow... so she buys some baby hand mitts for a NICKEL!!!

Right when I was about to close up shop, a nice family came & luckily doubled my sales!

(not much, but it made my day!!)

So, I made.....

NEVER MIND

how many smackers I earned!!!!

It was a waste of my time, I probably gained 5 pounds eating donuts, and I got denied countless times....

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

I will admit that I still can't stop laughing about the whole thing!!

HEY, it's _$$$$$$_ that I didn't have before...

MATCHING!!!

So, in case you haven't read my blog before...
My daughter LOVES to match people!
Noah got some "foot jammas" so now him & Ellie love matching in them!

On Friday, Auburn showed up with Roxy before Ellie got dressed....

Here is what happened after she studied what Roxy looked like that day!

"Mom, what skirt is Roxy wearing? What does her hair look like today?"....

These 2 are so DARLING {in the nation} to each other.
Ellie was pretending to be "Miss Brittney" for Roxy. She was teaching her "IN & OUT"!!Ellie & Roxy ADORE eachother!! {and I ADORE them}
I really need to make some time to scrapbook!! I love all of these MATCHING pictures.
(not to mention that I also accidently matched them, too)

Dinner with the GIRLS

On Thursday night a few of us met at B.J.'s to celebrate
Jenny becoming a woman.
(OOPS JEN, I mean you turning a new age!!)
It was fun catching up with the
"Taylor Girls"!!!
So fun to have good friends who are all examples in different ways.
Lance was a little bugged at another GIRLS NIGHT OUT... and I understand... cause I know that I have had alot of them over the last few months. But, I am really glad I went.
(thanks Lance for being a sport)
Hope you had a good birthday Jenny! You deserve it.
Congrats to two of those hotties...
(FYI: Katie was on her toes.. don't be fooled by her height!)

Trick OR Treat

In Arizona
TRICK - OR - TREATING
starts when the sun is still out at 5:00 pm.
OH WAIT, NO IT DOESN'T!!!
BUT, some moms are really anxious for their little kids to get all the free candy they can. (Sorry to be so sarcastic, but I just about died watching this lady!!!)
Seriously...
Halloween was lots of fun! Ellie & Noah started to get the idea of going out & getting candy... BUT I still think their favorite part was handing out candy to the kids.
Holly's girls: Carter & Gabby!
Emily prepares her costume early every year I heard! I think it paid off!!
Since my parents live in a circle.. {"The HOOD"}, all of neighbors sit together in a circle for a fast, fun & convenient way t.o.t... (TRADITION!!)
Since their house is the first one in the circle, my parents set a little PROP out to let people know where to go... (SHER wanted to dress up too!!)

(Uhh, I think it must have been their 1st time t.o.t in the area)
Our neighborhood gets really crazy on Halloween night. I guess word got around about how safe, friendly, etc. this neighborhood is...
We saw plenty of unknown cars that had tons of kids loading & unloading... AND I mean A WHOLE LOT!!! (AKA: "transplants")

The kids were lucky enough to get some candy from Donald Trump & his wife...

Ellie loved going to one of her church teachers houses...

AND.. my brother has loved dressing up for Halloween since he was born!!

Some things never change!
Here is Brad & some of his friends being "THE JUSTICE LEAGUE"!!!!!

Superman had to fly to save a couple people....

Cummard Events

Once a month we have HERITAGE with the Cummards.

At HERITAGE NIGHT we eat, play games, go over each families responsibility (service, missionary, etc.), sing, do birthday bags, and of course learn about THE CUMMARDS HERITAGE.
Cheryl {my mother in-law} makes everything fun and interesting.
This family is big on traditions & Cheryl started a new one...
THE CANDY BAR GAME!!
This games is for the kids. It was lots of fun to watch all of the kids.

Some kids try to concentrate really hard....

some don't even care to pick more candy bars if they rolled the right #.....

some can't stop laughing,

and some throw tantrums. (which I am sure they'll all do sooner or later!!...)

Later Sunday night, BIG GUY {Lance's dad} was on the floor telling us to call 911 because he thought he was having a HEART ATTACK... (look in the back at Steve who is cracking up).... YES, BIG GUY was KIDDING! Cheryl knew he was playing around the whole time so she didn't budge, Steve kept laughing, and I snapped a quick pic!! HA HA....

All of my sister in-laws had babies over the last year and 3 of them are crawling already! Jonnie (jon & summers) was such a mess & happy as can be to be free, crawling & climbing!

All of the babies love their blankees & I love it! Tilley (parker & kanoes) loves holding her blankee over her eyes, turning her head & falling asleep. It's so cute.

Every family needs an "UNCLE LA-LA"!

This is nothing out of the norm. He is always spoiling, hanging out, watching, and playing with the kids. Molly had a good time helping Quincy & Ellie get all PRETTY with her new make up!

MONDAY night, was Cheryl's traditional PUMPKIN CARVING!!

Since it was Monday, we had a little FHE and after that...all the kids got to take their turns sharing one talent! (almost all of them did a front roll & a cart-wheel)

Pumpkins...
(Don't be fooled by Ellie's pumpkin! Lance did the whole thing, cause Ellie didn't want to get dirty.)
Ellie wanted to feed Hudson (steve & crystals) his bottle so bad. Hudson wasn't about to agree since he is SO OLD now!
Here is a little cheez ball! This is Sally (davy & syds) loving the extra pumpkin pieces!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!

Every Halloween, the CLOUSE FAM has a rockin' CARNIVAL!!

The food, rides, games, and ETC were so much fun!!
